The China-Africa Economic and Trade Fair is dedicated to building a new mechanism for China-Africa economic and trade cooperation, a new platform for the implementation of the economic and trade initiatives of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and a new window for China's local economic and trade cooperation with Africa. The THE THIRD CHINA-AFRICA ECONOMIC AND TRADE EXPO has been located in Hunan for a long time and has been successfully held for two sessions in June 2019 and September 2021 respectively, with a total of 216 signed projects amounting to USD 43.02 billion and a pragmatic and fruitful outcome.

THE THIRD CHINA-AFRICA ECONOMIC AND TRADE EXPO will be held in Changsha, Hunan Province from 29 June to 2 July 2023, with the main pavilion located at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Centre, with six indoor pavilions and one outdoor exhibition area. With the theme of "Seeking Development, Sharing Future", the fair will focus on the spirit of the 8th Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) and the implementation of the "Nine Projects" of China-Africa Cooperation, with various activities in various forms and contents. Thousands of Chinese and African dignitaries, envoys, representatives of international organisations, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, business associations, experts and scholars, and media representatives will gather in Changsha for the event.
